Drop two cubes into a glass and saturate with 2oz of water for 30 seconds. Muddle the saturated cubes until they become a simple syrup. Mix with 2oz of bourbon or rye and ice, then strain and serve in a glass over ice. Garnish with an orange twist or a cocktail cherry.
